The leaves are Czech pressed glass, the top leaves having a subtle iridescent finish and a gorgeous opaline glow when the light hits them. The Garnet "pebbles" and drops are hand cut and have slight irregularities in shape, which only add to their unique look. Perfect for a Woodland Wedding or for any Forest Fairies.

Peridot

Peridot also known as Chrysolite, is a variety of Olivine. It is said that Peridot is a powerful cleanser, It releases and neutralises toxins on all levels. Reduces stress, anger and guilt. Peridot opens our hearts to joy and new relationships. It enhances confidence and assertion, motivating growth and change. Sharpens and opens the mind to new levels of awareness. Banishes lethargy, apathy and exhaustion. Peridot enables you to take responsibility for your own life.

Garnet

Garnet unites the energy of scarlet and red with the more muted, earthy overtones of brown. It is intimately tied to the Earth, and is a talisman of protection and unyielding strength, increasing willpower and resistance to all things negative. Associated with the First Chakra, it is a stone of physical love and relationships, and a spiritual stone of psychic protection.

The name Garnet is derived from the Latin name Granatum, a pomegranate, because of the resemblance the granular varieties of Garnet bears to the seeds of that fruit. Garnets were used in the former Czechoslovakia as far back as the Bronze Age, and in Egypt more than five thousand years ago. They were used in Sumeria around 2100 B.C. and in Sweden between 1000 and 2000 B.C. They were also popular in ancient Greek and Roman civilisations. In Europe during the Middle Ages, Garnet was used to enhance truth, faith and constancy, and to dispel melancholy. Garnet is said to have been one of the twelve stones in the Breastplate of the High Priest, and has been used as a sacred stone by the Native American Indians, the South American Indians, the Aztecs, the African tribal elders, and the Mayans.

Care Instructions

Jewellery should be the last thing you put on the first thing you take off.
Always avoid getting hair products, perfume or chemicals (chemicals can include household cleaning products, some foods such as Lemons or vinegar)
General Advice:
Any metal be-it Sterling Silver, base metals or plated alloys can become dull or tarnished. As a general rule don't get it wet, if you do, dry and polish with a soft cloth. If it goes dull or tarnished, a gentle polish with a non-abrasive Silver cloth will bring it's lustre back. Gems or beads can be wiped with a slightly damp cloth to restore their original lustre.
Certain precious or semi-precious stone may require special care, I will include the information in the items full description or care leaflet.
