Tree of Life Mythology and Lore

The Tree of Life in many religious interpretations, within myths, and as a mystical concept represents the interconnectedness of all life on our beautiful planet. The Tree of Life connects all forms of creation. The Tree of Life is considered to be the symbol of 'Creator'. In Norse mythology Yggdrasil is attested in the Poetic Edda, compiled in the 13th century from earlier traditional sources, and the Prose Edda, written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson. In both sources, Yggdrasil is an immense ash tree that is central and considered very holy. The gods go to Yggdrasil daily to assemble at their things. The branches of Yggdrasil extend far into the heavens, and the tree is supported by three roots that extend far away into other locations; one to the well Urðarbrunnr in the heavens, one to the spring Hvergelmir, and another to the well Mímisbrunnr. Creatures live within Yggdrasil, including the Wyrm (dragon) Níðhöggr, an unnamed eagle, and the stags Dáinn, Dvalinn, Duneyrr and Duraþrór.

The Triquetra/Trinity Knot
The Triquetra/Trinity Knot (often called the love knot) consists of three points that are interconnected in a triangle. It symbolizes the growth of the spirit, life that is eternal, and love that never ends. Pagans see the trinity knot as the drawing of the three inherent feminine powers: Mother, Crone, and Maiden. It also represents protection.
Other Meanings are: Mind/ Body/ Spirit. Past/ Present/ Future. Power/ Intellect/ Love. Creation/ Preservation/ Destruction. Thought/ Feeling/ Emotion. Other world/ Mortal world/ Celestial world.

Watermelon Tourmaline
Watermelon Tourmaline is associated with the Heart chakra to connect with both physical and spiritual vibrations. As a balancing stone Watermelon Tourmaline aids in removing insecurities. A combination of male and female energies, both Yin and Yang together in one crystal. It can help to inspire both creativity and practicality. Watermelon Tourmaline is wonderful for connecting with nature spirits and the Earth.
