✩Iron Pyrite✩
The name Pyrite derives from the Greek pyr or pyros, meaning “fire” for its ability to emit sparks when pieces are struck together or against a hard surface. Pyrite was highly prized by the native Indian tribes of the Americas as a healing stone of magic, and was polished into mirrors for gazing and divination. Before the 1800’s, it was favoured as a decorative stone, carved into rosettes, shoe buckles, rings, snuff boxes and other ornaments, and was extremely popular in England during the Victorian Age for its use in jewellery.
As a talisman, Pyrite is a unique protector, drawing energy from the Earth through the physical body and into the aura creating a defensive shield against negative energies. It stimulates the Second and Third Chakras, enhancing will power and the ability to see behind facades to what is real.

✩Cultured pearls✩
Cultured pearls are real pearls, they have been made by the mollusc. Once the nucleus is inserted into the oyster the pearl growing process is the same as that of a natural pearl.Their outer coatings are the same material as a natural pearl, and they take years to form in a mollusc's mantle. It’s pretty much impossible to tell the difference between a natural and cultured pearl by just looking at its outer appearance. The only way to make absolute certain whether a pearl is natural or cultured is to perform an x-ray of the internal structure of the pearl.
Greek mythology proclaimed pearls to be tears of joy shed by the goddess Aphrodite. Ancient Egyptians associated pearls with Isis, the goddess of healing and life.
