Copper Oak Leaf, Red Tigereye Acorn and Leaf Earrings. Antiqued Copper. A Sophisticated Tribute to the Majestic and Magical Oak and Oak King

A striking pair of earrings made with beautifully detailed stamped copper leaves, Red Tigereye "acorns" with copper acorn caps. They have a lovely earthy feel. I have brought it all together using copper wire and scalloped earwire, giving them a gorgeous vintage look.

Red Tiger's Eye

Red Tiger's Eye is a stimulating stone that is said to increase motivation and to help overcome lethargy . All Tiger’s Eye crystals are stones of protection and were traditionally carried to protect against curses and ill wishes. Tiger’s Eye is said to promote a positive attitude and to increase feelings of self worth. It is believed to help you to discover, and have confidence in, your own abilities helping to enhance your personal power and self confidence. Tiger’s Eye is also said to bring good luck and prosperity

The Oak

Among the sacred trees in many legends, the mighty oak stands noble and tall as The Tree of Life. The oak tree in lore and myth represents great symbolic meanings to the pantheons of mythology, to the druids, the faeries, and many cultures around the world.
in many religious interpretations, within myths, and as a mystical concept the Tree of Life represents the interconnection of all life on our beautiful planet. The Tree of Life connects all forms of creation. The Tree of Life is considered to be the symbol of 'Creator'.
In Norse mythology Yggdrasil is attested in the Poetic Edda, compiled in the 13th century from earlier traditional sources, and the Prose Edda, written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson. In both sources, Yggdrasil is an immense ash tree that is central and considered very holy. The gods go to Yggdrasil daily to assemble at their things. The branches of Yggdrasil extend far into the heavens, and the tree is supported by three roots that extend far away into other locations; one to the well Urðarbrunnr in the heavens, one to the spring Hvergelmir, and another to the well Mímisbrunnr. Creatures live within Yggdrasil, including the Wyrm (dragon) Níðhöggr, an unnamed eagle, and the stags Dáinn, Dvalinn, Duneyrr and Duraþrór.
