***Three Moons Necklace. Oak Leaf, Acorn, Moonstone, Antiqued Brass and Bronze. A Sophisticated Tribute to the Majestic and Magical Oak. June Birthstone.
Oak King and 3 Moons Acorn and Oak Leaf Necklace. Moonstone, Antiqued Brass and Bronze. A Sophisticated Tribute to the Majestic and Magical Oak.
Subtle and sophisticated necklace made using a solid brass cast 3D acorn, a beautifully detailed stamped double sided brass leaf and a delicate vintage look chain. I have added a green patina to the leaves giving them a lovely earthy feel. I have brought it all together using antiqued bronze wire and findings, giving it a gorgeous vintage look. There are 3 Moonstones hand rosary wired to one side of the necklace and an oak leaf to the other creating a lovely asymmetrical design.
Among the sacred trees in many legends, the mighty oak stands noble and tall as The Tree of Life. The oak tree in lore and myth represents great symbolic meanings to the pantheons of mythology, to the druids, the faeries, and many cultures around the world.
in many religious interpretations, within myths, and as a mystical concept the Tree of Life represents the interconnection of all life on our beautiful planet. The Tree of Life connects all forms of creation. The Tree of Life is considered to be the symbol of 'Creator'.
In Norse mythology Yggdrasil is attested in the Poetic Edda, compiled in the 13th century from earlier traditional sources, and the Prose Edda, written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson. In both sources, Yggdrasil is an immense ash tree that is central and considered very holy. The gods go to Yggdrasil daily to assemble at their things. The branches of Yggdrasil extend far into the heavens, and the tree is supported by three roots that extend far away into other locations; one to the well Urðarbrunnr in the heavens, one to the spring Hvergelmir, and another to the well Mímisbrunnr. Creatures live within Yggdrasil, including the Wyrm (dragon) Níðhöggr, an unnamed eagle, and the stags Dáinn, Dvalinn, Duneyrr and Duraþrór.
✩The Triquetra/Trinity Knot✩
(often called the love knot) consists of three points that are interconnected in a triangle. It symbolizes the growth of the spirit, life that is eternal, and love that never ends. Pagans see the trinity knot as the drawing of the three inherent feminine powers: Mother, Crone, and Maiden. The circle often seen around a Triquetra signifies the infinite and eternity. It also represents protection.
Other Meanings are: Mind/ Body/ Spirit. Past/ Present/ Future. Power/ Intellect/ Love. Creation/ Preservation/ Destruction. Thought/ Feeling/ Emotion. Other world/ Mortal world/ Celestial world.
helps to soothe and balance the emotions. Moonstones assist in the mastering of your emotions by bringing them under control of your will, instead of repressing or expressing them. Moonstone represents the great Mother Goddess. Her strength lies in her gentleness, and her ability to experience, process, and neutralize her feelings.
